The role

Kennel Attendant — Desert Hills, AZ

We’re looking for dedicated people who have worked with German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, can commit to the care of rescue dogs, communicate effectively, and want to make a real difference in innocent lives. This is a paid position — compensation discussed during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Walk dogs on leash.
• Assist with controlled dog introductions.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Communicate with the board of directors, volunteers, and potential adopters.
• Small housekeeping projects.
• Have an open mind and be willing to change quickly.

Hours & shifts

When you’d work

The rescue’s hours of operation are 6am–8pm with two shifts daily, ranging from 4–5 hours in length. We’re filling positions during the week and on weekends — tell us what works for your schedule when you apply.
