What is the Love For Life Program?
Love For Life is our program for long-term residents at Saving Paws — dogs that may not be adoptable due to age, health, or behavior. They live in loving foster homes with all medical and care costs covered.
How does sponsoring a dog work?
Sponsorship can be a one-time gift or a monthly donation. Each Love For Life dog runs $50–$100+ a month for food, medication, and supplies. Your sponsorship goes directly to the dog you choose, or to the program as a whole.
Can I sponsor a specific dog?
Yes — you can pick a Love For Life dog and your sponsorship is dedicated to their care. Visit our Love For Life Program page to meet the dogs currently in the program.
Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?
Yes. Saving Paws Rescue Arizona is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN 45-4279574). All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
How will I know how my sponsored dog is doing?
Sponsors receive periodic updates from the foster family or the rescue with photos and news. We love sharing the wins.
Can I cancel a monthly sponsorship?
Of course. You can stop or change a monthly sponsorship at any time. Reach out via our contact form and we’ll handle it right away.
Can I sponsor as a gift?
Absolutely. Sponsoring a Love For Life dog in someone’s name is a meaningful gift. Let us know in the donation note (or contact us) and we’ll send a printable certificate.
What if my sponsored dog passes away?
It happens, and it always hurts. We notify all sponsors with care and offer to redirect future contributions to another Love For Life dog or to the program.
